I ordered this item a month ago. So far so good. I was seeing humidity levels in my finished basement as high at 69%. This unit removes humidity as advertised. The bucket fills up about every 14-18hrs on continuous use. I am thinking about buying a second unit.

Have had this for a while now, and it works great. I do recommend that if you can you run a tube to a drain or sink, as I find that I need to empty it every day in the summer. Only problem I've had is that even after I've cleaned the filter, the light stays on. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

First we were emptying the water reservoir, and the handle somehow became stuck. We were able to push it down with a little screwdriver. No idea how that happened. So my husband went to Ace Hardware and bought a small length hose. We hooked it up that way and nomore problems.

Would Recommend!

I'm using this dehumidifier in my basement which is about 28' x 40'. Purchased it a month ago and it has been running continuously with noproblems. The fan is a bit noisy but since it is in the basement I don't have a problem with this. I have to empty it once a day however don't have to worry about the container overflowing since the unit shuts down when full. I'll be connecting a hose to it however to make it a little easier. I've noticed a big difference in the basement with the humidity staying at a comfortable level, no more sweating cold water pipes or musty smell. It's doing exactly what I need. I would definitely recommend at this time.

Great product so far!

Decided it was time to make the purchase. The lower level has always been a bit musty smelling but nothing that can't be lived with. The manual requests you run it in continuous mode for three to four days. I'm around hour 35 for it running but I've drained the 70 pint pail three times. The lower level feels noticeably better than it did 36 hours ago. There is a metal smell I guess you could call it that is visible but I'm assuming that will go away after the unit is broken in. Look for rebates with your LEC to get the price a bit lower!CommentWas this review helpful
